Who is CM Solutions and why do we offer Freelance Marketing Services?

CM Solutions was founded by Calli Miller in the Spring of 2020.

After graduating from Endicott College with a degree in Hospitality Management in 2014, I moved to Los Angeles to work and explore the Golden State for about six years before returning to New England. While in California, I held various roles at tech startups, gaining experience in HR, office management, digital marketing, event planning, and business operations. Working across multiple departments allowed me to develop a strong ability to juggle different assignments and support a variety of projects. I spent most of my time at ZipRecruiter Inc., which was considered a large startup at the time. During my last year in California, I took a part-time position at a marketing agency while also running my own event planning LLC on the side. Over the years, I became well-versed in effective social media marketing tactics, website design, and email marketing strategies.

When the global pandemic hit, I was grateful to secure a part-time independent contractor role with a company called Easie. When I wasn’t working on projects for Easie clients, I focused on advancing my marketing skills and education—taking online courses and refining my design abilities with Adobe Suite. In launching CM Solutions, I invested a great deal of time and energy into developing freelance marketing services that truly provide real value to small business owners and entrepreneurs in my community.

Before (and after) college, I grew up working at restaurants, ski mountains, breweries, inns, and more. Now, as CM Solutions, I work with these hospitality businesses, offering a range of ongoing marketing services tailored to their needs. My goal is to combine my knowledge and experience to deliver the best possible results for my clients.

CM Solutions proudly serves businesses from our hometown in the Mount Washington Valley, as well as businesses in Portland, Maine, Biddeford, Maine, and beyond. We offer local onsite services as well as remote. If you're interested in working together, we'd love to hear from you! Cozy Mitchell

Cozy Mitchell is a born-and-raised Mount Washington Valley local who has always been incredibly creative and crafty. While working with CM Solutions, you may find her behind a camera, designing in Canva, putting together beautiful Reels, preparing email newsletters, and more. She has spent many years working with locally owned and operated businesses in the Valley, while also running her product business selling hand-made knits and printed thrifts. All of her hand-crafted creations are one-of-a-kind pieces and are sustainably sourced. You can learn more about Cozy and her products on her Instagram account, @cozys_creations .

Born in the Mount Washington Valley, educated in Massachusetts, and tossed into the wild, wild West of Los Angeles, CA—Calli has returned to New England to build her new freelance marketing business. Back in California, she held jobs at tech startups that challenged her to think creatively, solve problems on the fly, and take ownership of many different projects. Working at a growing startup is an adventure that pushes you outside your comfort zone and fuels personal and professional growth. Calli proudly takes these valuable experiences and utilizes them within different marketing strategies and tactics, with the overall goal of supporting other small business owners and their businesses.

James Lohan Joyce

James is a New England native who has worked and lived in Southern NH, Northern NH, and Boston, MA. He loves murder mystery podcasts, skiing, chicken fingers, and spending quality time with his friends. He is a very talented video and photo editor, as well as a podcast producer. James was recently editing a podcast called Struggle To Strength. He is a “James-of-all-trades” when it comes to creative marketing! James is a very thorough writer and editor, saving us all from silly typos and grammar mistakes. Today, he holds a full-time position as an Assistant Manager for Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Glen Ellis in Bartlett, NH.
